Is a deposit required?
Yes, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date and time of your event.
How do I pick out music selections?
Sarah McKelvie has a great deal of knowledge on suitable repertoire for a variety of events. If you tell her the style you desire, she can lead you to many great pieces from which you can select.
Can I request special music?
Yes, the we will play special requests. If it is not in their standard repertoire, there may be a small fee per piece. However, if the piece seems like something they might use again in the future, there will be no charge.
Will you be at the rehearsal?
In general, there is no need to be at the rehearsal. We will arrive in plenty of time of the event to coordinate timing of the music with the event coordinator .
What will the duo wear?
In general, we will wear concert black or other evening type attire, depending on the event and location.
Will the group perform outdoors?
Yes, we perform outdoors except in the rain. In the event of rain, we will not perform under any circumstances unless we are well covered with an outdoor tent.
Would you be avaialble past the cotracted hours should we desire you to stay?
Most times, we would be willing to stay, provided we are not booked at another location. The standard hourly fees would apply and payment would be expected at the completion of the service.
Will you take a break?
For a wedding ceremony, we will not take any breaks. For hourly services, a 10 minute break will be taken each hour.
Should we offer food and beverages to the musicians?
Although food and beverages are not required beyond glasses of water, but we certainly do appreciate it being offered.
